I must say that the Daily Show News Team chose humor over reality in this piece.
Small towns are so loved by Republicans because they have no community organizers (negroes) and of course gays leave town well before they are picked up and nailed to fence posts. There are also no Jews or Muslims. But Mexicans do come to work in agriculture but being the small towns they are run by small minded people, they can easily pass laws to have them rounded up and shipped back to wherever they came from.
