Here The Daily Show finds one answer to why Iowa has gone under, George Bush hates White People!
When the Bible was written I don’t think they had corn which leaves pigs as the impetus of God’s wrath. For we know people who eat pigs – like people who eat crabs and shrimp and lay with other men – shall not reach the kingdom of Heaven. So hold your sympathy for the people of Iowa, God hates pig pushers wherever they may be.
We know from Pat Robertson and the good and dead Jerry Falwell that 911 was caused by God because he was unhappy with New York being a bed of ACLU members, abortion and queers. We also know they, along with the new crazy minister Revernd Hagee, that Hurricane Katrina was caused by God being angry with New Orleans for being a bed of parties, abortion and queers.
So what have the people of Iowa done to deserve going under water? What is Iowa most about? Certianly not queers, and abortion isn’t much of a problem. I can’t really recall much regarding ACLU cases or massive dress up drinking parties. Iowa is mostly about corn and pigs!
