As ugly as the meaning is, it only impacts Santorum and his relatives, who are likely to be unaware of the alternative meaning anyway. If Rick Santorum continues to victimize gay people, everyone named Rick will soon be associated with a sex act which seemed to make some Ricks genuinely ill during the panel discussion.
