There was something unusual in the apology of Ed Shultz to Laura Ingraham, I believe it was absolute sincerity. True remorse isn’t often seen in a world of coerced and rare apologies. Alternately, I have yet to see a right wing Limbaugh or Beck apologize for using much more hurtful – and often dangerous language on their radio programs.
Ed has drilled the importance of character, dignity, and telling the truth to his six children. That is why he took the initiative with MSNBC, and is beating himself up over his comment, although anyone familiar with Laura Ingraham will laud him for his restraint
in merely calling her "a right wing slut."
The negative, Obama-hating sniping of Ingraham is wearying, and is petty beyond the pale. Obama is enjoying the one pint too much, next – his choice of beer is in question. Ingraham also conveniently leaves out Obama’s plans to be in Joplin on Sunday. In the venomous, negative opinion of Ingraham, he can never live up to Saint George the Brush Clearer/golfer Bush (who did only a flyover of Katrina in the same time frame), in vigilance or leadership. Stop beating yourself up, Ed!
