No more of this home school, charter school, voucher crap. Time for the Department of Education to standardize education as has the civilized world. Time to no longer allow Jed, Goober and Victoria Jackson choose the curriculum or the books. In the four years of high school with 8 semesters and 5 courses per semester, 40 courses, make these 10 courses, or one quarter of them, about 100 hours each, mandatory:
Civics
Anthropology
Biology
Sociology
Geography
American History
Western Civ
Eastern Civ
Comparative Religion
American Lit
English Lit
Who could possibly be against that? Idiots, morons, imbeciles and most everyone at an early bird buffet.
