The reason for this debacle is nowhere to be found. Not even in political cartoons. Not anywhere at all, not even on MSNBC or CNN or NYTs. It’s that OUR TROOPS thing I guess.
The problem is beyond obvious. We are led to believe that the bureaucRats in the Veteran’s Administration are doing all they can to make veterans suffer and die because these are not just everyday bureauRats down at the state DOT but are the evil kind who work for the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
No, the issue is not that federal bureauRats want to kill our troops and make them suffer, but rather that there is not enough money to support the wounded troops coming back from two Republican wars, endless Republican tax cuts AND how intensely Republicans hate and despise SOCIALIZED MEDICINE, veterans or not.
Perhaps like Benghazi – which seems to share much of same funding issue – an investigation into this will not serve the GOP well.
But then again we live in an exceptionally capitalistic country with most all Americans settled on combat bootstraps rather than combat boots.
