Great Balls of Folly! If you say it, they will come to believe it. It works for Fox News when viewers see no other option for ‘news,’ and it works for blowhard Limbaugh whose audacity in switching the roles of Democrats and Republicans is beyond the pale.
A reputable study proved that those who depend upon FOX NEWS and their ilk for ‘news’ are likely to be more ignorant and uninformed than those who depend upon Craigs’ List for ‘news.’
How to remedy the problem? Could Fox and ‘friends’ step up the journalism aspect? Oh ye of great naivete. The dumbing down is complete, Republicans proudly lay claim to ousting Science from textbooks. It’s no secret that they are running a concerted effort to keep the poor from voting – if they might be Democrats. Still, they are willing to give away the credit for these achievements, if only for a short time, if they can foist the blame onto Democrats. Oddly, when Democrats perform these acts – even when it is a product of Limbaugh’s imagination, it is dirty and shameful, but when Republicans destroy text books and stop people from voting, they are acts worthy of great praise!
