Have to hurry up with this before I am tainted by any pundits on this, overall Carly Fiorina won the evening, Donald Trump did better than expected, John Kasich is their best bet to beat Hillary in the general election and it’s over for Rand Paul.
I found theĀ audience little different than four years ago by giving the most raucous applause to those who said the ugliest things. The biggest applause coming from calls of war, no abortion for any reason, war with Syria, make all abortions all illegal, war with Iran, building up the military, no abortions, war with Russia and my personal favorite, Ben Carson’s call for American Exceptionalism to bring back torture – which if I am not mistaken other than a few trumpisms – got the biggest applause of the evening. And there you go, the very essence of the GOP.
I did notice no mention of guns at all and only a tiny bit on gays.
The debate began with the biggest explosion of the night with Donald Trump raising his hand to say he would under no condition rule out a third party run for president, doubling down on it to the most booing of the evening. But all in all he probably was the winner of the prime time debate. Though over all Carly Foirina won the day by playing Trump in the early bird crowd and calling Hillary Clinton a liar about a dozen times. You see? A woman can call another woman a liar to her face.
Carly Foirina won the day.
Donald Trump held on and will be taking a dump in the RNC punch bowl for a long time.
Rand Paul lost and may be the first to drop out.
Marco Rubio did well running for Vice President.
Scott Walker’s robot responses made him look as dull and boring as he actually is.
Chris Christie did well but he did hug President Obama which is unforgivable.
Mike Huckabee is a crazy fascist going nowhere.
Ted Cruz is a crazy fascist going nowhere.
Dr Ben Carson is an inarticulate boob going nowhere.
Jeb Bush came off as an amateur.
John Kasich made sense without anger and may replace Jeb as the establishment candidate.
Now off to see what the real pundits have to say.
