This was the last phrase of a long screed prompted by the news that Obamacare had just logged over 7 million users. This kind of news can’t simply be accepted, nor can it be ignored by those of the Beckian school of broadcasting.
Typical in severe cases of Obama Derangement Syndrome, contrary news must be denied vehemently. Blame must be spread – as Beck did, from our ‘sociopathic dictator’ – who would be a fantastic uniform designer (however that is relevant), to the Press. Beck had a few special words for those in the press. “You’re rat bastards, every single one of you!” He continued, “You know what he’s saying isn’t true.” Meaning Obama, he continued, ” You know it! You know it!” With spittle flying, the man who once demonstrated how he uses Vick’s vapo rub beneath his eyes, to facilitate crying on-air screamed about the complicity of the press in obviously falsifying the numbers of those enrolled – or perhaps he was screaming because they did not falsify the numbers?
Of Obama, Beck often returned to the sociopath-dictator theme, often raising the image of a uniformed Obama in a festooned box, reviewing the troops – Hipster mustache on a stick, held above upper lip. . “He’s a full-fledged dictator, there has never been a president who has done anything like this.” If Obama is a dictator for passing a social welfare program, what does that make FDR? Thank goodness we survived that madman’s reign of terror!
