I recently read a rather boring article on the politics of global warming around the world. You know, we are not the only country with a conservative party. All over the world the debate rages on how much to spend, where best to spend it, and the government’s role in coming to terms with Climate Change. The difference between all the other conservative arguments and ours, is that they accept the science as reality and argue the implementation. While here in the United States of Duh we deny the science, the reality and the obvious.
Why? The same reason about 90% of the populations of the rest of the civilized world accept evolution while less than 50% of Americans do. And the Energy Companies and the GOP play the Faith Based for the fools they are.
