Just read that most every company personal director in charge of hiring does a Facebook and Twitter check on prospects. These people who decide whether to hire you or not don’t like many things about what you bare to the world in social media. A recent survey found the following had the largest negatives:
Neutral – Politics & Religion
47% Alcohol use
51% Guns
61% Grammar & Spelling
65% Profanity
71% Sexual content
83% Drugs
I would guess there is a mix of seeing people being morons, avoiding company lawsuits, and what looks to be a pretty serious case being anual retentive.
