Look ma, no hands!
If Google technicians are successful there will come a day when we can text, talk, drink and watch videos without the pesky annoyance of driving the car! Some drivers have been pioneering the approach without the help of Google’s smart cars to less than stellar result, enter artificial intelligence.
You may have already seen the specially equipped Google Prius navigating by artificial intelligence on the road. The cars drive themselves using artificial intelligence software which can sense anything near the care and mimic decisions made by a human driver..assuming the driver were equipped with 360 degree vision.Technicians argue that the cars don’t become sleepy, intoxicated or distracted and can save thousands of lives. A personal observation, they are as sexy as oven mitts, give me a Jag or a Bugatti any day..I promise I’ll stay alert and drive.
It’s all very exciting unless you are one of those who has ever been led to a dead end by a GPS; likewise second thoughts are to be expected by those of use who experience frequent crashes, glitches, and mysterious malfunctions in our personal computers. The cars aren’t expected to be in use for several years, I’m
certain they’ll work all of the bugs out by then…
