Usher’s ‘OMG’ was written this year by will.i.am, and Homer’s tune hails from the Simpsons Christmas 2003 episode. Naturally the songs are different in theme if not melody and some lyrics. Both men sing about desire to be fulfilled; Simpson in anxious anticipation of his presents, and Usher sings appreciatively ’bout his baby’s booty.
"Christmas in December/Wow wow wow/Gimme tons of presents/Now now now," croaks Homer in the episode Dude, Where’s My Ranch? Usher’s version? "Honey got a booty like/Pow pow pow/Honey got some boobies like/Wow oh wow." If this proves to be true, it could be the artistic equivalent of Wikileaks.
