I seldom do a I TOLD YOU SO. But… I supported Barack Obama passionately even though I stuck with Hillary to the very last moment.
I did so because of this very thing. I knew Hillary had VAST experience dealing with the Right-wing conspiracy in their hopes to destroy the federal government and go back to a nation of pre civil war states rights.
She understood what they were were up to, what they were capable of, the dirty dishonest game they play. But most importantly she knew how to deal with them. You slap ’em upside the head with a brick, for like any rogue nation, it’s all they understand.
I believed and said that Obama was so naive, so LETS ALL JUST GET ALONG, that he would allow them to walk all over him until they managed to UNDO everything he might accomplish and send him home in tears or in a box.
