Seth Meyers takes a closer look at an alleged challenge to Trump from former Starbucks CEO and billionaire Howard Schultz, and revisits an interview with Cliff Sims who penned the latest Trump tell-all.
Before his interview began, a prescient audience member gave Schultz good advice:
“Don’t help elect Trump you egotistical billionaire ass****!”
Schultz isn’t ‘for’ anything so much as he is against Democrats whom he freely paints as commune-dwelling advocates of socialism, free health care, free education, and free love. Worst of all, Schultz claims that Dems want to destroy the very heart of America – big heartless insurance corporations!
Seth addresses Schultz: “The guy we have now is a builder and all he can talk about is building a wall. What are you going to give us for health care, Cake Pops?”
An interview with Chris Sims, the former White House aide who penned ‘Team of Vipers’ promised more dirt on the dysfunctional Trump-occupied White House. Sims was extremely reluctant to dish about Trump’s racism, but when pressed, he took a deep breath and revealed that Trump “doesn’t have a racist bone in his body.” Ironically, Sims seems to be the one former employee who is abiding by the classic Trump non-disclosure agreement.
