Tiny Town Cartoons are funny and clever and far from idiotic, but in this episode,Ben explains the advantages of having a low IQ to his much smarter friend Jasmine. Why would anyone want to be dim-witted, dumb, dense, stupid or slow? Surprisingly the reasons are many, and you’ll soon agree with Ben, who says; “When you’re the lowest common denominator everyone wants to appeal to you and it’s pretty sweet.” These are true words in our society today!
If you’re not so slow, chances are you’re worrying about world events, politics and the banuality of the media, art, music… Etcetera. Ben names a slew of silly stuff that is geared to him and his kind, but just as an example, peruse the summer movies. But for a very few, the majority are outright dimwitted and/or geared for the slow youth market. Turn the dial and you’ll hear puerile popular music. When we see the world’s most clever commercials, they are from other countries, not ours.TV shows, politics…Need I say more?
Ah, but non-news reader Ben is happy in his world – rather, our world, and sometimes it’s better to be happy than right. By the time Ben is finished, he has convinced Jasmine that ignorance is indeed bliss! Did she say YOLO?! The transformation is complete.
