Sure it’s a boon to political cartoonists and those of us who enjoy the GOP clown circus in the primaries, but please keep in mind that Rick Perry, while jogging pulled a pistol out of the waistband of his sweatsuit and shot a coyote that looked at him funny. That’s hard to beat in the Republican worldview. And he may be the best looking presidential candidate in history with I might add, THE BEST HAIR. From where I sit that makes him unstoppable. Perhaps 80% of the vote.
So don’t be laughing quite yet. He could be the nominee next time if the GOP decides to go with the Tea Party rather than the GOP hierarchy.
