Keith Olbermann makes the inarguable case that Donald Trump’s behavior and skill set isn’t fit for running a middle school lunchroom, much less running the Oval Office. Trump is extremely fortunate that he has never had to hold a job – other than ‘POTUS’ but he doesn’t view the position as a job. However, it is fun to imagine Trump as an employee. Put him in any position that suits your imagination, just keep in mind that Trump can only read a document if it is no more than nine bullet points long, has charts and pictures and it must mention his name many times.
I like to think of Donny Two Scoops in a fast food restaurant – not giving orders, but taking them from customers. Of course Trump doesn’t play well with others, is prone to tantrums, and his constant lying is often used to stab coworkers in the back. He never admits he is wrong, and his inability to process context makes for slow going and huge misunderstandings. Oh, and because sexual harassment is a much bigger deal in the real world, Donny’s tiny hands and big mouth could get him into trouble. I predict that Trump would be fired from the Golden Arches before lunch.
The truly odd part of this all is that – WE haven’t uttered the words that any other employer would have long ago – “Trump, you’re fired!”
