Sarah Palin was a crowd pleaser at CPAC…And it took so little to please – just a Big Gulp and a few snipes at Mayor Bloomberg! The audience went wild…Which is some indication of the level of entertainment at the Republican gathering. Palin's speech resembled nothing so much as a roast of Democrats penned by a sophomoric comedy writer – and yes, I suspect she hired one. The only thing missing was a rim-shot from a drummer to let folks know when to laugh during her risque tale of guns and her 'rack.'
Palin also revisited a favorite topic, President Obama's teleprompter. He apparently still hasn't mastered the Palin method of scribbling on his hands…And that bothers her, and the Republicans in the room, who are apparently impressed that she can memorize pithy speeches of this nature – a sure sign of superiority over our Commander in Chief.
