Joe Wurzelbacher or "Joe the Plumber" was the darling of the McCain/Palin campaign until his real identity was found out. Joe who owed $1200 back taxes was not a business owner who would be affected by Obama’s tax proposals. Joe wasn’t even a licensed plumber. That said, it is safe to assume he did not belong to a plumbers union and it takes big brass ones to ask them to back him for Congress. It’s fair to say that Wurzelbacher spent more time on TV in 2008 than with plumbing, perhaps he should appeal to the SAG,or Screen Actors Guild?
