Boy, Jon Stewart sure got Bob Schieffer laughing a lot! The update is that this morning at 8am it is still unknown if John McCain is going to wussy out of tonight’s debate. Though much like the GOP keeping the "media" away from Sarah Palin because she is too stupid to be President, I must put my money on him showing up tonight.
In Mrs. Palin’s defense I must say that George W. Bush was obviously also too stupid to be President, but American Voters wanting to keep the bar low by doing their best to not elect anyone smarter than they are, elected him anyway and he turned out great! Well that is what lipless right-wing NeoCon pundit Charles Kruthammer said this week in comparing W. Bush to the greatness of Harry Truman. "So unpopular that Truman left office disparaged and highly out of favor. History has revised that verdict. I have little doubt that Bush will be the subject of a similar reconsideration."
