It occurred to me that if anyone is the direct opposite of Ron Paul, it is Bernie Sanders.
Senator Sanders is and always has been about people, bringing them up, a helping hand and fighting for economic fairness and justice. As Jon Stewart pointed out, the grade school teacher who admonishes the student for chewing gum, "Did you bring gum for everyone Ronny?" is an example of the horror of socialism.
On the other hand Ron Paul is and always has been about money: Debt, deficit, Federal Reserve, IRS and total deregulation of the financial sectors. Pure Social Darwinist capitalism at its worst, no need to go back to the 1920’s and 1930’s got that horror show, it is hear and now with Ron and Rand Paul.
What is the main cry from Senator Rand Paul these days. RIGHT TO WORK LAWS! The total destruction of unions in all 50 states.
All of this Ayn Rand Looneytarian crap results in handing what little is left over to the wealthy and powerful who already have it all, while not only giving NOTHING, to people who work and do not live off of unEarned income. All Under the auspices of the proven lie that if we give the wealthy a free ride YOU will be rich tomorrow. Note: This is correlated to the similar and just as a hopeful belief that an invisible sky creature is watching out for us – but not your cousin who was killed last year by a drunk driver.
