Jon Stewart, Michael Steele says Marriage is Bad for Business

Since 2001 the only demographic group that has increased for the Republican Party are those who go to church once or more times a week. The GOP is becoming the American Taliban. Yes it is.

For years I have been asking for one good reason why gays cannot get married. You know, what skin off anyone’s nose is it? For many years it was the crazy argument the equal rights were Special Rights if it was about homos. That swill has replaced by the argument that gay marriage destroys heterosexual marriages, that absurd silliness is what all the defense of marriage legislation that our American Taliban manages to get pushed though state propositions.

But with public opinion moving so strongly and quickly against them, American Bigots (the Republican Party) need a new excuse to take pride in their religious bigotry. For bigotry is what drives most religion our (my) religion is true and we (I) am going to Heaven and your religion is false and you are going to Hell. It’s not only bigotry, it’s disgusting on all levels.

Well finally someone has stepped up to the plate to apply LOGIC to the argument!

Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele says that Gays getting married causes employers to have to recognise these newly legalized spouses, costing them more money to cover their health care plans and for more hot dogs at company picnics.

Another fine example of Republican logic, to go with the hoaxes of evolution and global warming.

Hell-o in there-o! Anybody home? Gosh…

It’s not gay marriage, it’s marriage you nitwit! And what if married couples have kids! They eat lots of hot dogs!

But as we know from recent polls Republicans are losing the young AND the educated, so it’s easy to get these tea party wingnuts believing whatever the GOP leadership wants them to believe. What with Joe the Plumber jumping ship, the Republican party is now an intellectual step below that roadie scholar. Wow!
