Add Hank Greenberg to that ever growing list of REALLY BAD JEWS: Hank Greenberg, John Bolton, William Kristol, Paul Wolfowitz, Michael Savage, David Horowitz, Bernard Madoff, Jackie Mason to name just a few. I know, I know that can get me in trouble. But you see, it’s much like the present problem we have with getting Senator Hagel being denied confirmation for Secretary of Defense by the Republican Party because he does not support Israel and is an appeaser for Iran. No, these Republicans are only supporting the Likud HALF of Israel. Because just like we have here, Israel is equally divided between conservatives and liberals, hawks and doves. Settlements and no settlements!
Capitalism in America has gone far beyond the pale. Like guns and religious intolerance, it is something we have lived with for so long, we can no longer see the forest through all the dead rotting trees in front of us.
I am having trouble seeing anyway out of any of the Right-wing swill we have been accepting as business as usual now since January 20, 1981. And when I look back at that day and the 8 years that followed, I realize that though we in American no longer idolize Kings and Queens, we have substituted that necessary human trait for Hollywood celebrities instead.
Obama ‘s change did not happen nor will it, he is too introverted, too smart, and too beholding to present himself as unBlack to be effective. We need our own Ronald Reagan. Someone from the left who can act the part, looks the part, who knows the lines and how to deliver them. Who is now a universally loved American icon that will not waver pushing liberal and progressive ideals to actually change things. I suppose that would presently mean Tom Hanks or Jay Leno or Brad Pitt. Maybe even Oprah. But then what are the chances of two African American presidents in a row. Hmmm. I know! ELLEN!
