Jon Stewart, Republicans love executions more than money

Jon Stewart follows my lead from yesterday that the Reagan Library GOP debate most memorable moment was not from a candidate but from NBC moderator Brian Williams who said. "Texas has executed 234 people…" Which got the best Republican applause up to that point. Well until the Texas Governor responded by saying loudly WE will execute you! The most Republican applause of the evening. The delight in it.

This is the party of Jesus Christ. Who was you know, executed. These nutcakes are so obtuse they don’t get even that. Yet alone evolution, global warming or that Bigfoot is not real.

This is an integral part of the issue I have been pounding on for 16 years here now. As Rush Limbaugh says, Character matters, and this issue says it best.

Forget the greed, the selfishness, the intolerance, the bigotry and callous disregard of Republicans for a moment, just ponder how they are most delighted with executions. And guns, corporal punishment, torture, war and collateral damage. Violence and killing. It is the nature of the Beast.

It is bad character that drives conservative politics, not the other way around. They are born that way. It is a genetic disposition, they are biologically incapable of seeing anything from any other point of view but their own.

Try it on them sometime?  Ask: What if you were Gay? What if you were Black? What if your family was starving in Mexico. What if you were homeless?  See where that gets you.
