Religious intolerance good, multiculturalism bad.
So what’s the good part about Republicans so far this year?
They cut extended benefits to the unemployed while reducing taxes on the wealthy.
They cut food stamps for hungry poor children while increasing farm subsidies tor the wealthy.
All but three Republicans voted against expanding benefits for OUR TROOPS while reducing taxes on the wealthy.
The entire GOP dynamic since the Great Recession they caused, is to pay for their wars, the debt they caused, the jobs we lost, the pain we suffered on the backs of the poor while making sure the wealthy do not have to shoulder one damn thing.
How do they get away with that? Who would vote for that crap? Fairness! They tell us they are reducing taxes for everyone so it’s fair. You save $200 next year and they save $2 million each. That fairness is also the only fairness they accept, all other fairness is socialism.
So why do 40 million or so working class Americans vote these selfish bastards and against their own economic self interest? I think I got it down to five words.
