Perhaps it would be a good thing if Newt Gingrich were to by some fluke of reality become the President. We would have a new First Shady Lady adding a lot of Tiffany to the White House.
But it is Newt’s view of the constitution that could very well mean the end of not only President Newt in an early impeachment, but the end of the Republican Party for a generation. Though I doubt we would hang him by his toe as they did the Father of Fascism. Fascism – the trifecta of power shared by corporations, the Church and the Military under the belly of an egomaniacal megalomaniac.
Gingrich brags that he would not follow Supreme Court decisions he personally does not like. He also brags that any federal judge who makes decisions he does not like will be subpoenaed before Congress to be vilified and impeached. Putting his distaste for the very basis of the constitution aside – separation of powers between the THREE branches of government – the document also states, "no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States".
Gingrich makes no bones about it. It is his loudest endeavor, to force religion into the government. Gingrich makes no bones about it, his loudest endeavor in refusing to adhere to Supreme Court decisions and impeaching judges are all concerned with "Godless secular liberals" what he says is their War on Religion, here in the most religious industrialized nation on Earth.
One thing I am certain of is that if Gingrich and that Bimbo always at his side were to gain the White House, he will be impeached within two years. Or perhaps our first American coup! As he so Profoundly and Frankly drills into us at every opportunity he will "fundamentally change the very nature of our government."
