As Lizz Winstead – Bang the Dumb Slowly – notes no one in Bachmann’s waiting crowd seemed to notice anything odd about the robot in their midst until – the gay robot approached Bachmann with a message decrying Bachmann’s robophobe and homophobe stance. Only then did the crowd realize the robot was not one of their own, and turned on R2D2’s cousin with loud boo’ing.
