Clearly this is a great burden for Glenn Beck. He is the only living person who knows what horror wafts from the pipe dream of a former union organizer; a man with an idea for freeing people from unjust treatment by fat-cat bankers, starting with a ‘Rent strike’ of sorts. Why can’t they see, this idea is more dangerous than our most recent and devastating disaster as a country, 9/11! Inexplicably, Beck cannot interest the FBI or Homeland Security in this, his latest scare, so he must turn to his ‘friends’ the faithful viewers and listeners. It is a rallying point, a time to pull together and be strong!
By the way, "It" – again this time, is neither dangerous, illegal, immoral, or fattening. Beck’s hyperbolic warnings here are on par with comparing a bit of a draft to the tornado which was 9/11; and that – is what happened to the Little Boy Who Cried Wolf! Also: progressive, socialist, atheist, and commie rat bastids.
Surely by now, even Beck’s most stalwart followers suffer adrenal failure from constant alerts; and the Emperor’s robe has vanished, or is hanging in transparent peek-a-boo shreds allowing them a view too far. Soon, it will take more than a Vick’s assisted Beckenspiel to rally his tired masses, unless they’re all crazy too – they could be! Admit it, you now feel like the only non-zombie in a grade-B movie…A bit vulnerable, and outnumbered!
