It’s unAmerican, it’s unChristian, it’s a sign of our downfall as a country for the NBA to play on December 25th, which I dare say is an answer to many prayers. Instead, the players should fold their hands and listen to Handel’s’ Messiah or – like Fox television celebrities, head off to tropical resort locals where invisible people who do work on Christmas may wait on them. And those who run the airlines may take care that they get to their destinations.
Obviously the entire world of work: doctors, nurses, police and even the people at the corner store where the Fox folk pick up a few things are invisible. No other religious holiday is of note while this small group at Fox News becomes more small minded, more myopic and sour with each passing day.
Each day Rupert’s Merry band of sour-faced reactionaries has made up a reason to be offended. Included is a snippet of Gretchen Carlson in distress – she proclaims that "they’re taking the red and the green!" To her I say, they always place more colors in with the M&M’s after Christmas Gretchen, they never go away entirely.
