For those who claim there is no difference between the parties:
All Democrats in their debate (except the guy whose name we don’t remember) when asked about English Only laws said no. All republicans said yes except John McCain.
All Democrats in their debate when asked about Gays serving openly in the military said yes. All Republicans said no.
All Democrats in their debate when asked about a women’s right to choose said yes. All republicans said no.
All Democrats in their debate when asked about Iraq said pull out. All Republicans (except crazyass right-wing Libertarian Ron Paul) said no.
In the Sunday night Democratic debate they discussed ending an unpopular war, socializing healthcare, poverty, economic disparity, climate change, fixing the environment, improving education and becoming energy independent.
In the Tuesday night Republican debate they discussed staying the course in Iraq, fear of terrorism, building gigantic walls, English Only, mass deportations, and of course expressing their unfaltering allegiance to God over country. As do all good Ayatollahs and Mullahs around the world.
Our primaries work in such a way that this time round the GOP nomination will go to whoever loves Jesus and hates Mexicans the most. Fear of terrorism and applying religious intolerance are the only winning issues the GOP has any longer, and they know if they can pound it in long and hard enough they have a chance, albeit a slim one, of keeping the White House.
The shift in voter polls have caused the Republicans to cave in to some degree on the environment, climate change, queers, guns, the war, corporate greed, and even reducing taxes. The only real issue they have in play any longer is with God by their side, kicking the crap out of those on the lowest rung of our economic ladder. One would think that would only play well in trailer parks, but three decades of conservative control has made America one giant nation of Dumbasses.
