As Bill Maher explains, the screeching from the GOP in both Obama elections was WE WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK, and now it is WE WANT TO MAKE OUR COUNTRY GREAT AGAIN, both meaning the same thing that can be reduced to one word, WHITE.
Long ago I found the most fun question to ask a Republican which is even more potent these days.
“So why do you think it is that polls now show that Donald Trump has the support of 0% of African Americans in Ohio and Pennsylvania?”
The problem of course is the answer will have to do with errant polls so do it again.
“Okay, why do you think the polls show that Donald Trump has the support of only 13% of Latinos nationally?”
So that poll is wrong too, after all Donald Trump says he is winning the Latino vote. Such lies are okay from Donald Trump because they are expected and he is a guy. Lying is like sleeping around, guys can gals can’t. And that’s the way it is and always has been. And always will be?
The best way to deal with Trumpers close by at work, family or friends when they push it?
“I am beginning to agree with you, the cynic in me sort of wants to see a buffoon in the White House for all the crazy fun it will bring to my listless boredom.” And be done with it. Though you may have to explain what a cynic is and what listless means.
