We have all now heard the news about so many very old people who died after being left in nursing homes with no AC.
I recently spent a week living in a 10 story old people’s home in Milwaukee settling my 97 year old Mother’s funeral and estate.
What came to me – like a freight train – was actually seeing and witnessing where the costs we refuse to pay in Health Care come from.
Just in that one place hundreds of very old unhappy souls hunched over their sit-down walkers in their wait to go from their Condo, to Assisted, to Nursing to Hospice. Most of whom, like my Mother, hoping for the end before the move from one step down to the next.
Well we have found the answer. NO AC FOR ANYONE OVER 90 in the Summer.
