I have yet to have an argument with any evangelical Christian who has not defended dropping nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki (that’s 70,000 dead per second – of which 80% were old men, women, children and fetuses) or the death penalty. Or more guns, or more bombs, or collateral damage, or preemptive war. Somehow Christianity got turned on it’s head. It is the agnostics and atheists who now follow the teachings of Jesus Christ while the self proclaimed Christians recite scripture and what Fox News tells them to think.
