“Before there was ‘Lyin Ted or Little Marco there was Clockwork Eric.” Attorney General Eric Schneiderman talks to Seth Meyers about how he wound up on Donald Trump’s enemies list, and what it’s like to sue the President. Schneiderman also discusses how he and others struggle to protect the country from Washington D.C.’s bad idea toxic volcano.
Schneiderman is a personable guy, and most importantly he is a conscientious and professional Attorney General…Qualities that a native New Yorker would appreciate, unless that New Yorker was Donald Trump. A lot of people are sued for fraud each year, but only Trump set up a website to attack Schneiderman personally. Trump sued the AG for $100 million, filed ethics complaints and of course devoted the front page of Jared Kushner’s ‘newspaper’ to “Clockwork Eric.’
Schneiderman brings Seth up to date on more recent battles nationally, and discusses the questions on everyone’s mind regarding Trump and Russia.
