Will Oklahoma tornadoes change the tune of the people of Oklahoma? Not hardly! There are more conservative states as to the percentage of state wide voting for Republicans. Utah, Wyoming, Idaho at the top of the heap. But Oklahoma is the only state in which EVERY SINGLE COUNTY votes Republican. No little dot of blue in Oklahoma! The state of LESS GOVERNMENT, NO SOCIALISM, FEDERAL GOVERNMENT GET OUT. In fact just this morning Oklahoma Senator Tom Colburn said the feds can take their money and shove it. We shall see.
But we have to give the people of Oklahoma a break, after all, what is Oklahoma known for? Surries, fringes, Okies, dirt, Oral Roberts, rocks, Indians, Sooners and federal building blowing up. And they need a bit of tea and sympathy, especially now.
But I have to say I am mystified watching so many of them on TV thank the Lord and Bless Jesus for destroying their homes, their city as dogs, horses and children fall from the sky.
I wonder if there a case, other than prison convicts, where a person becomes an Evangelical Fundamentalist who did not have Evangelical Fundamentalism pounded into them as children by their parents? I have looked into this a little to find that about 90% of new born again converts come from those who left their Evangelical Fundamentalist households when young and came back to it later.
