Gold: Rep Joe Barton,R-Texas, just doesn’t see what the flap is about. It’s some socialist money grab dreamed up by the pinko Democrats, is the implication. One does wonder how many agree with the Senator, that not only is carbon dioxide
safe, and naturally created, but that global warming simply doesn’t exist. Put that in your snow cone made from a glacier which is not vanishing, and slurp it! It’s science, but for some reason, this always comes down to two parties and God.
Silver: Misinformed much? Tucker Carlson gets a big snap of the bow tie for a rather obvious and extremely erroneous attack on President Obama, in his address at Notre Dame. Those whose belief system would be padded by this lie won’t look it up and will choose to believe it. That is how outright lies add ammunition to the unthinking, especially in an emotional topic like abortion. In this case, there is no excuse for Carlson’s statement, only a choice to inflame those who feel
strongly on the issue of abortion. There is no evasion of the word abortion. If MSNBC can run the film and find Obama saying the word abortion seven times during the address, are Tucker and his team guilty of not viewing it, or even worse
guilty of knowing the truth and misleading the public anyway?
Bronze Bonehead Award: Hannity is picking on guys who are bigger and brighter – again. This time it was former Navy Seal, Governor of Minnesota, Professional Wrestler, and Actor Jesse Ventura – definitely THE wrong guy to plead George
Bush’s case, if you want sympathy! Again, he cannot have possibly seen Ventura’s views on George Bush or he wouldn’t have brought the subject up. It’s well worth watching Ventura’s response to Hannity as he pleads that Bush “inherited” recession, and was crushed by the negative impact of 9/11 on his presidency.
