Today a remorseful Frank Schaeffer writes in Huffington that feels he shares the blame for the death of Dr. Tiller. Schaeffer’s father advocated force, comparing Roe V Wade to Hitler when that battle was being fought, but says either would
have been shocked if anyone had taken them at their words, and helped create a climate of hate so black that murder is rejoiced. He has the decency to write today, and regret any part he had in the past of creating it.
Schaeffer is to be commended, but he is not the one who goaded “Operation Rescue” and Fox News to stalk, harass, threaten, and finally shoot Dr. Tiller in cold blood. In this compelling video we see how “Operation Rescue” AKA Murder became one with Fox News. While they consider themselves innocent, they were an enormous part of convincing some that Dr. Tiller was a murderer. Scott Roeder the shooter, was posting in anticipation of seeing O’Reilly at the Anti-Tiller Pray-In, and
why not? After Dr. Tiller was acquitted, O’Reilly, Glenn Beck, Laura Ingraham and others, all right-thinking folks, got aboard “Tiller the Baby Killer” bandwagon.
Unable to accept a legal acquittal, for four years on Fox News alone were heard such inciting names as “Tiller the baby killer.” O’Reilly falsely saying Tiller would perform a late stage abortion ” for ANY reason.” Woman depressed, Tiller the baby killer.”Performing thousands and thousands without justification.” said OReilly. “Any Reason, Any Reason for five grand.” I hesitate to put in print where he got that information, I suspect he pulled it out of a cold dark filthy place, where a lot of his “facts” dwell. Repeat that liturgy over and over, and that Tiller had blood on his hands, and it’s going to sink in somewhere. Laura Ingraham, stridently pounding home that it’s a Hitlarian procedure, time after time after time! They’re partly right. There is blood on hands, many of them are dripping. Those who encourage the weak minded with hate have plenty of it which won’t wash off.

Like any other terrorist group, it means imprisoning not only the man who pulled the trigger or set off the bomb, but
also those who encouraged, enabled, and goaded him every step of the way.
