Last night I watched the Donald Trump town hall live, the whole thing top to bottom, finding something we don’t see watching followup clips, his fans are cretins. Oh no! We can’t say that! It’s politically incorrect! And it’s elitism which only turns the cretins into angrier, nastier and more entrenched cretins.
“I AM A VETERAN! THROW HILLARY IN JAIL! THROW OBAMA IN JAIL TOO!” Followed by applause and a YES YES from The Donald.
Donald Trump pretty much opened and closed the evening with his call against political correctness. As I have been pounding into people for 25 years this is what has driven more working class Americans – cretins – into the hands of the GOP than any other issue. Into the hands of the GOP who could care less about them. That’s how powerful it is, overriding their own self interest, with The Donald playing it like a fine fiddle.
Trump also plays the issues perfectly for these cretins. He has the GOP base under his spell – with an expected 40,000 coming to see him tomorrow night in a football stadium in Mobile, Alabama. Is there any doubt at all that those in attendance will have confederate flags on their bumpers, wanting to deport everyone with a funny name, want to drop H Bombs on the Muslims and have an arsenal at home to hopefully get to shoot a NWORD or two? And the media and the rest of us have to play nice with these cretins? Well almost everyone.
