But… Kids today can type with their thumbs! Who would have thought that even possible? And kids today can do math with their fingers! And not just up to 10! And take pictures and movies to send around the world with a click in a second! Wow!
My generation had it’s own Sarah Palin / Michele Bachmann in a woman still around named Phyllis Schlafly. She had a big educational push back in the 80’s to eliminate GEOGRAPHY from public schools. You know GEOGRAPHY, where we learn about OTHER PLACES and OTHER PEOPLE different from our local church. Such knowledge is dangerous as we can see these days as the young leave religion as never before because of technology making the world smaller and more accepting of different people.
