Here in Texas Governor Abbott called for a legislative special session to get this Bathroom Bill passed. It is the life’s work of Lt Governor radio talk show host Dan Patrick. In fact all statewide executive positions are held by extreme right-wing reactionaries who have no problem campaigning with Ted Nugent.
The Texas Senate overwhelmingly voted for the Bathroom Bill the other day, but the Texas House led by normal Republican Joe Straus does not seem to have the votes for passage. Major corporations have sent hundreds of lobbyists to Austin to fight this thing. It looks like a bust for the bigots.
The Bastard says all Republicans care about is money, well not the Republican base, they are far more concerned on who goes to to the bathroom where. The only care The Base has for money is keeping it from Blacks, Mexicans, Muslims, Homos and baby murderers.
