Most all the screeching heard about freedom and liberty from Republican’s is either about their back pocket or their holster.
I just read some Primary Christian rant and rave over the horror of atheism in the the French Revolution, the USSR and China. There is a profound flaw in that argument. None of it was done in the name of atheism, while the horrors of the Dark Ages, the Crusades, the Inquisition, the Holocaust, 911 and all the carnage in the Middle East has all been done in the name of Religion. 98% of the people in Nazi Germany were practicing Christians. Every tank, bomber, ship and vehicle in the Nazi military had a Christian cross on it. And who killed Christ?
What about freedom of religion? All that is about is Republicans pushing as much Christianity down our throats as they can get away with through government and politics, which infringes on the freedom from religion. Which in the world our founding fathers experienced was the reason for the first 10 words of the 1st Amendment.
Oh sure we all have the right to be bigots and selfish a wholes, but is that really something to design a political party around?
