House Republican Whip, Virginia’s own Eric Cantor – who is said to be the only Republican in America who has retained any semblance of sanity these days – has been found to be FULL OF IT when he took the microphones yesterday claiming that not only are Democrats equally guilty of the threats and violence against Democrats over the past week, but they are more guilty because they told the press about them to make political hay.
So Cantor calls a political press conference to make political hay to follow the RNC TALKING POINTS to prove it is all equal because it is he, Republican Eric Cantor who is suffering the threats and violence.
A Richmond Police detective was assigned to the case. A preliminary investigation shows that a bullet was fired into the air and struck the window in a downward direction, landing on the floor about a foot from the window. The round struck with enough force to break the windowpane but did not penetrate the window blinds. There was no other damage to the room, which is used occasionally for meetings by the congressman. Also beware that there was nothing to show that the office in question was either Eric Cantor’s or Republican as were all the Democrat offices which were bricked. Cantor did not officially report the gunshot, not because he did not want to make political hay, which he has now done anyway, but because he knew it was probably random to the area.
His second argument that this is all equal is a history of threats he has received over many years because of his Jewish heritage. This is really silly trying to blame this on Democrats when American anti-Semitism is led by Louisiana Republican activist and leader David Duke, once a Klan Grand Dragon and a neo-Nazi who still celebrates Hitler’s birthday. Please remember that in the 1990s the Republicans of Louisiana – knowing all that full well – voted for David Duke in the Republican Primaries for both statewide offices of Governor and US Senator, where he ended up getting more than 40% of the vote in the general elections in November. As a Republican who at the time bragged he celebrated Hitler’s birthday and doubted the Holocaust was real. Republicans. Conservative Christian Republicans, 40% of a statewide vote. REPUBLICANS.
So Eric Cantor is really no less insane than the rest of the Republicans who have proven by the recent vote on health care to be 100% nutcakes.
