This a good example of how this gun debate is so irrational. Like religion, or dealing with addicts whenever it comes down to the real issue its usually bait and switch. The response from gun enthusiasts is always the slippery slope into some imaginary fascist state led by Liberals or African Americans or Mexicans or Chinamen or Muslims or Yankees…
The reason gun enthusiasts don’t want anyone to know who they are or where they live is if the rest of us knew how many guns they had and how much they love their guns, they could all very well be considered too mentally ill to buy a gun.
How would you like Ted Nugent living next door to you? And you know, there probably is A Ted Nugent on your street. You want your kids playing there, or even chancing upon that property? And they are probably far worse than Ted Nugent who has to watch what he says.
