Seth Meyers takes a closer look at Donald Trump, the self described ‘law and order president’ who’s backing Roy Moore, the accused child rapist, and dishing up sympathy to Michael Flynn, a former top aide who lied to the FBI. Campaign Trump promised; “We’re gonna bring back law and order!” Clearly he is talking about the TV show. Oh, sweet irony! Ten months in and Trump and his administration are already being investigated by Sam Waterston.
Clearly when Trump claims to be about restoring law and order, he means persecuting immigrants, refugees and everyone who isn’t a white man with a red hat. The latter group are always law-abiding, even when the cookie jar lid slams down and mangles their thieving hands. As the president with the best brain said: “All you can do is you have to do what you have to do.”
