Seth Meyers Takes Closer Look at Mike Pence, Trump's Running Mate

We may not have known much about Indiana Governor Mike Pence, but after an interview with Leslie Stahl, it’s clear that the dynamic between the two candidates is ideal – Trump talks, and  Pence is effectively talk-blocked.

As you know, Chris Christie abandoned all dignity to be Trump’s toadie, and Newt Gingrich brought years of Republican conniving and know-how to Trump’s campaign. Pence, it’s said, will provide a relatively stable temperament to (haha) balance Trump’s thin-skinned volatility.  Seth’s not-to-be-missed humorous anualysis provides insider knowledge of the Trump-Pence team, and a heap of well- deserved giggles. In fact, the team began their relationship with the ill-fated logo, which it was said, looked like an amorous T and P with the blinds pulled aside for the curious.

Pence holds differing views than Trump on many issues, but as we see here it simply doesn’t matter. You’ll never hear him speak again. Seth uses a few clips from the ’60 Minutes’ interview with Leslie Stahl, which illustrate the point.
I was impressed with Trump’s most recent achievement…The invention of the ‘humble-brag.’  Stahl to Trump: “You’re not known to be a humble man.” Trump set Stahl straight. “I think I’m a lot more humble than you would understand.”
What a guy. I guess he told her.
