Bill O’Reilly is one of the many talk show host icons who make so many of us take notice of just how mud dumb stupid anyone listening to them must be. I suppose Bill’s audience is a bit sharper than either Sean Hannity’s or Glenn Beck’s (I have yet to hear one person admit to being a Glenn Beck fan).
Michael Savage’s audience are racists, Rush Limbaugh’s are pure white and wealthy, Dr Laura has a lock on America’s ignorant airheads who need advice just to cross the street.
But taking note of them all over the years, the winner is, Michael Reagan. Who tops that crowd with an audience who it is easy to assume can neither read nor write. His listeners represent the voices of our woodland militias in the North, our swamp people in the deep South, the white lightening hollers of Tennessee and Kentucky and varmint hunters throughout all of rural America.
