Ah, now we find that not only did a clothless woman corrupt Adam which created all the pain, misery and death in the world, but the talking devil snake was a woman too! And we let them take the kids and the house!
This has always been a theological stumper for me. Which is more theologically horrid and disgusting? Blaming all the pain, misery and death in the world on women as the corrupting influence upon men? Or slitting you children’s throats just because God Says? It’s a tough call.
But you say, that’s just that silly old Jewish part of the Bible, what about the new and better Christian part? Well there is a also a lot of bad theology there too, the most heinous of which comes from Jesus himself where he said, ” ONLY through me shall you gain everlasting life.” There you go, a rot in the ground death sentence for 5.5 billion men, women, children and of course fetuses. Talk about genocide!
