SNL does a spoof on CNN to find that 10 year old Quvenzhané Wallis of the movie “Beasts of the Southern Wild” has been chosen as the new Pope. The new Popess has yet to chose a Pope name. It is expected that she will chose one of the names of the Black Women mentioned in the New Testament. Hmmm… Well maybe named in the Old Testament? Hmmm… Well anyway… I suppose Pope Jasmine the First will have to do.
This opens up picks for a new set of not only Cardinals like Cardinal Snoop Dog [oops, that is now Snoop Lion] and Cardinal Sharpton, but some new saints as well, like Saint Marley and Saint Pryor.
Perhaps a change to celibate women as priests rather than men? It would be an easier road to ride I would guess. Oh and what a boon to nuns! I say give this a try!
