The Supreme Court will hear the Gay Marriage case in April and decide it in June, but how will the votes come down?
Of course it should be 9 to 0 as was Brown v Education to make an historic point for liberty, freedom, fairness and equal protection under the law. Oh and just being nice rather than being an a whole.
But of course it won’t. So the big question is whether it will be 7 to 2 or 6 to 3 depending on whether Alito will go with Slappy and Benito or not. I keep coming back to watching Alito at a Obama State of the Union speech where he shakes his head and mouths NO NO NO on a statement the President said on the horror shoe of the Citizen’s United decision.
Or am I being way to optimistic and it will be a purely Republican 5 to 4 decision?
